A visual art practice by Ruby Chen, from Taipei to the Bay Area. Through graphic design & handcrafted print media, Studio Sansui shares stories of diaspora and exists as a site for play, emotional release, and reflections on cultural heritage & belonging.


About

Ruby (they) is a queer third culture designer living in San Francisco, CA. The studio name ‘Sansui’ is a reflection of the mountains and seas that have co-existed in the landscape of their many past & present homes in Southeast Asia and the USA.
